At least a some researchers believe that Bees use sound especially during swarming to aid in their flight? Could this be possible? One online think tank believes it is and it has been debated and reasoned that the bees are perhaps much more highly evolved than we ever thought possible.
Now then all these swarming insects seem to have something else in common. A double set of wings. One set could be bouncing sound waves or is able to cause a rippling affect on the other to further enhance the sound waves. Like an acoustic transducer on a taunt film, for an insect to do this considering there cellophane type wing structure would not surprise me much although it is one of the coolest things going in nature you have to admit. Vibrational energy use seems to be a standard feature in nearly all complex life on Earth to some degree. It stands to reason that it would find a way into the aerodynamics of swarming insects.
If you ever watch a group of hornets manicure a little symmetrical flowered bush it is truly amazing the accuracy and precision they use in tasking and the sound they make could be the reason that they work in teams as they get an additional cooperative advantage in doing so, as you suspect the Locusts do in their swarms. You have me believing in it too.
Now then hornets are heavy little buggers considering their plump body and they have extremely powerful flying capabilities and the maneuverability, agility and stability is impressive indeed. Perhaps they are more adapted. And look at the Bumble bee too which I do not know but assume it does not swarm but it buzzes as it flies. Does it get an enhancement from the buzzing? If you have ever listened to an insect fly by your ear many of them buzz, do they all use the same abilities a little, but in a swarm they turn it up a notch and we get a piling affect like a giant amplifier and speaker? One think tanker stated; “It would be helpful for people to be able to limit their ability to swarm, whether here in the US or anywhere in the world.”
Or it might be very cool to allow beekeepers moving bees somewhere else to use this advantage in transport or assist the bees in moving further faster, with fewer fatalities along the way by enhancing their natural sound waves. Either way this whole thing is rather fascinating indeed don’t you think? Perhaps you will consider this in 2006.

Is it possible to stop a locust plague with an acoustic weapon or sound device mounted in a giant semi-truck? How could this be done? One recent member of an online think tank, thinking ahead of spring and summer when locusts maybe likely to swarm thinks this may all be possible. The think tanker states:
“This is a job for a sound engineering corporation like http://www.bose.com.“
Indeed the idea of stopping a locust swarm with a giant sound weapon is a job for those who study sound. I agree and I had met an interesting group from the DARPA Challenge, which had made a “Stereo Concept Sensor” for directional sound waves. The trick it to get the sound everywhere and yes you would need some cutting edge acoustical engineers to figure it out. I very much enjoyed reading the Bose website. Very excellent stuff indeed. I concur very much that this is a job for a group like this.
The think tanker further states; “There is another company that has a directional sound generator (really can’t call it a speaker) that delivers sound to a very specific location”
Yes, I had correspondence with an MIT genius working on this stuff. Great stuff indeed. Directional sound technologies are the answer I believe to focusing on the locusts. Maybe we could mount the thing in an old work horse like a C-130 and fly over it with an acoustical directional array and simply fly around the swarm and cut it down with sound waves like they do with the “AC-130 Gun Ship” the array would stay focused on the target while the aircraft flew.
Of course a large blimp might be better as the speed of flight is less. Only problem is getting it there in time to catch up with the locusts. A redesigned blimp which had a TAS of lets say 130 Kts due to its shape could fly there and then land and load the array and then “plump” up to hold the weight of the Sound Technology Device and then go get the locusts. A War on Locust Plagues, rather than warring against mankind’s own. United in a common cause to stop the locust swarms which devastate the land could indeed be a wonderful plan. Imagine this in 2006.

China’s build up for war in the billions they are investing in their military has many countries in Asia quite worried. Taiwan, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and others are all worried that China is growing its military so in the future it will dominate the entire part of that region and one-forth of the world.
In fact with all the Middle Eastern problems and Machiavellian tactics of switching sides it appears that China is hoping no one is noticing its quick buildup. Not only is China building its military, but now it has become a seller of military hardware and selling to such countries as Iran, which sponsors international terrorism and has promised to blow Israel often out. You can immediately see the problems that exist.
In addition to this Chinese generals more than once have said that if the United States were to interfere with the reunification of Taiwan by force, then China would retaliate against the United States with nuclear weapons. You can understand why the United States of America is shifting much of its forces in the Pacific as a hedge against the Chinese Sun Tzu political intimidation tactics that such theories are indeed known for.
Request is still remains if China has no enemies and certainly not the US its largest trading partner, then why is China need the second-largest military in the history of the human species. As Einstein said; “you cannot simultaneously prepare for and prevent war.” And as Ronald Reagan said; “trust but verify” in other words, we will do business with you and trust you until we find you untrustworthy and we shall speak softly, but don’t kid yourself; the protection of the American people comes first and foremost. That is something you can trust. Consider this and 2006.

Fighter aircraft are becoming more and more agile and if humans are going to continue to fly them and compete with artificial intelligent UAVs then the future fighter pilot will need a little help. I propose Aircraft Flight Control Systems with Mind Reader Enabling Devices. I know what you are saying; Lance what kind of crazy idea is this? Let me explain.
We will use a device inside the fighter pilot’s helmet, which will read the brain activity and pre-activate the controls. When the fighter pilot sees something, perhaps a target of opportunity it will see a pulse shoot from inside his brain, at that point and alleviating all the brain to body reaction time issues, the plane will have already responded. Based on his line of vision at the time (what he is looking at) plus his level of anxiety or excitement it will activate the weapons systems, thrust control, “G” suit and directional thrust nozzles for rapid and evasive or tactical maneuvers.
The system will work on a non aggressive low frequency or ultra sound reading. It may or may not incorporate MRI or rTMS; read this for the basis of this thought;

In the future due to reaction time and the amount of “g-forces” a human pilot can take it is obvious that AI UAVs will indeed have the upper hand; but until then we need to upgrade the technology to enhance the human pilots ability to keep up. Consider this in 2006.

Is it possible to coat granules of dust floating in normal airflows with a reflective coating to increase communication of smart dust particles and MEMS? Be coating on the granules of dust would be charged to promote ionic bonding with nearby smart dust particles. It makes sense to use the dust already in the air to help promote the smart dust mission for communication, surveillance and whether monitoring.
By using methods of coating granules of dust within airflows sprinkled with smart dust, we should be able to send a chemical laser beam into the virtually transparent cloud of particles to power up continuous flight in keeping the system airborne. The coating would collect the energy and store it by way of heat transfer any energy could be slowly used by the smart dust, which is a long for the ride.
Be coating used would also promote high rates of communication between the nodes or motes used in the MEMS smart dust. This would also allow us easy access to the information that was gathered due to the energy that the smartdust cloud would emit. Although this may sound like science fiction and abstract thought; I think I might be onto something here and we need to address some of these issues, as all this seems to be possible with current technologies and the applications for weather monitoring, weather control and weather modification seemed apropos.
For anyone in vaults in military technologies, military communication or are doing research in the field of net centric warfare, I would advise you to look into this concept and consider its possibilities. We must move forward and understand the potential of such technologies in their benefits to mankind. Consider this in 2006, I did.

You might well know how favourable uploading your businesses video commercial is. For a firm’s manager, short format videos are a helpful tool that can help to capture your potential audiences’ attention and significantly improve the overall amount of users to your site. Web video clips are tremendously effective in holding the target customers’ fairly short attention. Furthermore, if codes are integrated and online video sharing is promoted, promotional videos can be a superb way to get one-way inbound links and in so doing positively affect your organisations position on the search engines. Vidify are market leaders in short format corporate video production for small businesses.
In fact, online videos have become an excellent source for business or self-endorsement. The following are a number of tips to circulating your own video commercials.
Firstly, you can post your online video clips on your own website; however this would need you to make your own video hosting arrangements. Instead, ask your Internet hosting solutions business if video downloading or video streaming options are supported.
Video downloading is where your visitors are required to download your online video to their PC’s hard drive. They need to store the Web video clip to their own personal computer before they can play it using their computer’s video player or a downloadable video player device. There are countless video downloading service contractors that cost very little. There is also a progressive downloading mechanism where your web visitors can play the Internet videos at the same time as downloading them.
Video sharing streaming on the other hand completely does away with the requirement to download the professional videos and allows immediate playback so it gives the most value to your Web users. Of course, getting a video hosting provider that supports video streaming can cost you a pretty penny.
And finally, the more fashionable way to circulate short format professional videos is by posting your sites to video distribution sites which possess their very own video hosting infrastructure. These sites cost you nothing at all to become a member and will even sometimes pay you to post video material. They also have a large market base & reach; for example, YouTube gets around twenty million Internet users every month.
