My acquaintance Jack calls me on the phone to tell me that he has found some online gambling internet sites that I just have to suss out. I have never really been heavy into gambling, but I figured O.K., I have to give it a trial run. So I tested out some blackjack and poker, only honestly, they just aren’t my cup of tea. So I find these on-line elottery internet sites and I realize that over the internet I can play lots of several lotteries around the Earth. Straight Off to me this appears a great deal more pleasure, thus I suppose I would give it a try. In the beginning I tried out my luck at euro millions, you know a European lottery. I picked my lotto numbers and anticipated and dreamt that I would win it big. I didn’t but when the euro millions numbers came in; I was extremely surprised to realise that I had really come really near to the winning lotto numbers. I tried out a few other lotteries, but I found that I had come so near the first time on the euro millions, that I simply had to give it one more go. Up until now, I haven’t scooped a bucket load of pounds, but all the same, I have won some money, and so I continue to play the euro lottery and picking elottery winning numbers, hoping to get my big win. I am one of those individuals who like to believe in the likelihood of hitting the jackpot, because it’s tough to think getting that kind of money some other way.
As for my friend, he still carries on with his passion of on-line gambling and finds himself at the online casino for at least 60 minutes a day. He too has won some money, but it is up and down and the difference is, when you lose at gambling you usually lose a lot but when you lose at the lotto, it doesn’t cost you as near as much. I think that the lottery is the only way for me to go plus the idea of winning it big and on top of that, it is only costing me just a few pounds “makes it all more appealing”.

I continue to be amazed by the lack of available poker playing in many parts of the world. Where I live, in New York City, the only viable way for me to get into a game on a regular basis is to seek out these illegal, underground poker rooms in the city, which isn’t easy and can be dangerous. That’s because the state of New York does not have legalized poker. Many other states do, and legally operating poker rooms operate to the benefit of all. Many European countries also have legally operated poker rooms and do very well. But yet, here in America and some other parts of the world, stupid beaurocrats refuse to legalize poker.
Firstly, poker can be categorized as a game of skill, not chance, thereby not making it gambling. And regardless, gambling should be legal everywhere anyway. I have long said, all countries should make gambling legal, then they could collect taxes from casinos and card rooms, and make a nice tidy profit and everyone’s happy. Only stupid, puritanical religious reasons keep poker from being legalized in all of the world.
But the tide is slowly turning. More casinos are popping up across the globe, and online poker rooms are more popular then ever. But we must remain vigilant, my poker playing brethren, to make our voices heard when any government authority anywhere tires to deny our right to play poker, whether it be in a brick-and-mortar room or online.

For a online casino, the more poker and blackjack games played per hour, the bigger the take. So while humans still hand out the cards, much of the pre-deal action is handled in super-fast electronic fashion. A newly opened deck might first be put into a Deck Checker machine. This not only guarantees that you are playing with a full deck, it ensures that there are no bent or damaged cards. A typical device can be set to recognize a variety of face designs, can be pre-loaded with up to eight decks, and can perform its duties in under 15 seconds. Once checked, the decks might then be loaded into an automatic shuffler. These can either be free-standing affairs, or built flush right into a game table. Top of the line models can handle both paper and plastic cards. You can tell it to shuffle up a single deck to use for Holdem, or a multi-deck for games such as Baccarat. At top speed, the unit can thoroughly shuffle six decks in three minutes and in such a way as to provide the type of randomness despised by card counters and loved by casino owners. Makers of these devices claim a 25 percent increase in productivity when compared to the lowly shuffling performed by earthlings.
