I was at my grandma’s house the other day and noticed that she now had a large amount of foliage in the house. At first I thought that grandma was in no condition to be responsible for all of those plants. I mean, she cant even remember where she put her false teeth at night. How was she supposed to remember to water half dozen plants every day? I am perfectly normal and I can’t even keep my plants alive for more than a few days. Then I noticed something that made me feel a little better about everything. One of the plants had a tag on it. I didn’t think much of it at first, because plants cost money too, but then I saw that the tag was going thorough one of the leaves. When I went in for a closer look, I noticed that the plants were not real. They were silk flowers, and they looked really good. They hardly looked synthetic at all. I don’t know why they call them silk flowers. I don’t thing that they are actually made out of silk. I guess that they could be, but they don’t feel like silk and on the tag it just says that they are made in China. I guess that silk worms are actually from China, so it kind of makes sense that the flowers could in fat be made out of actual silk. Fake plants can allow for a person to make their home look beautiful with healthy looking plants. In any case, the fake plants really made my grandmas house look nice and homey.
